Mr Jin Ye Teo Completes his Honours Year in Bachelor of Biomedical Science

JinYe

Mr Jin Ye Teo successfully submitted his thesis titled "Validation of the accuracy for exposure assessment to radiofrequency radiation in adolescents by comparing responses from questionnaires and modified mobile phones" on 29 May for his Bachelor of Biomedical Science Honours degree. Mr Teo undertook his research under the supervision of Dr Geza Benke and Professor Michael Abramson. Mr Teo also provided great input into MonCOEH’s Exposure and Mobi-Kids studies.

Mr Teo came to Monash from Republic Polytechnic in Singapore, having concurrently completed his Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Science and electing to complete his Honours degree at SPHPM.

Mr Teo remarked that he has learned a great deal during his time at Monash, and has gained a lot of extra skills. He hopes to write a paper around his thesis, in collaboration with Dr Benke and would like to secure a position in public health, either in Melbourne or in Singapore.

We wish Mr Teo every success for the future!
