Shan Liu wins the Best Oral Prize!

Shan Liu, a PhD student at the Monash Centre of Cardiovascular Research & Education (CCRE) in Therapeutics, (under the supervision of Associate Professor Bing Wang and Professor Henry Krum), was awarded the International Society for Heart Research/ The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (ISHR/CSANZ) prize for best mini-oral presentation at the recent 37th Annual Scientific Meeting held in the Gold Coast last week. Her presentation was titled “Myocardial infarction after subtotal nephrectomy accelerates pathological cardiac remodelling and renal impairment.”

Shan also won the Chinese Government Award for "Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad for 2012", presented in April this year. Congratulations Shan!
