Nominations open for the SPHPM excellence awards

SPHPM excellence awards The nomination period for the SPHPM Excellence Awards is now open.

These awards aim to recognise and reward outstanding achievements and accomplishments in teaching and research, along with granting $500 to each winner.

The Award categories are:

· Early Career Research (ECR) Best Paper (can be self-nominated)

· ECR Excellence (nominated by a senior member of staff)

· Mid Career Research (MCR) Best Paper (can be self-nominated)

· MCR Excellence (nominated by a senior member of staff)

· HDR Supervision Excellence (nominated by a Supervisor’s student/s)

· Research and Teaching Support Excellence (nominated by a senior member of staff)

· Teaching Excellence (nominated by course co-ordinator)- Will be advertised at a later date

· Tutoring Excellence (nominated by a Tutor’s student/s)- Will be advertised at a later date

Applications/Nominations will close on Thursday, 31st October, 2013.

This year’s SPHPM Excellence Awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 4th December 2013, and will be presented by Professor Christina Mitchell, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences.
