Health impacts of smoke from planned burning

Planned bushfires 125Dr Martine Dennekamp (Monash Centre of Occupational & Environmental Health) is seeking local participants from around the Heyfield, Maffra and Traralgon areas for a new study examining the health impacts of smoke from planned burning

 In an interview for Celine Foenander’s ABC Gippsland Morning Program, Martine explained that she’s looking for 70-80 participants who will have their lung function, blood pressure and other health factors assessed before, during and after planned burning in the Gippsland area.
