David Goddard receives President's Award for Outstanding Service

David Goddard is a lead Fellow in education for the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM), part of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. On the 26th of May, David was presented with the President’s Award for an outstanding contribution to AFOEM in education, training and assessment.

David has been working part-time for AFOEM for 5½ years to improve training for doctors seeking to become specialists in occupational and environmental medicine.

In his other working role, David works part-time as an education-focussed senior lecturer with Monash, where he has worked since 1990.

This is the second Faculty award David has received. In 2005 President David Fish presented him with an award for outstanding service for work over ten years on the Assessment sub-Committee of the Faculty for education of trainees in occupational medicine.
