Venous leg ulcers (VLU) are a common problem that have a considerable impact on an individual’s health, quality of life and health care costs. The Inaugural Monash University Venous Leg Ulcer Seminar will be held in the AMREP Lecture Theatre on Friday 16th August 2013. Speakers include The Hon. David Davis MLC, Victorian Minister for Health, Professor Christina Mitchell, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Professor John McNeil Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine and the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Associate Professor Geoff Sussman OAM, internationally renowned wound management expert, and Dr Bill McGuiness President of the Australian Wound Management Association (AWMA), as well as a host of wound care providers, researchers, industry partners and policy makers.
